He played for RBC Roosendaal and NAC Breda before moving to Celtic FC in 1995. He was a huge success in Scotland, scoring 44 goals in 66 league games for Celtic. Usually used as a substitute at international level, he came off the bench twice during Hollandâs 1998 World Cup finals campaign, scoring against South Korea. Is always a danger from dead-ball situations.
