Yet another Dutch star playing his trade with FC Barcelona, Reiziger will operate as a right-back this summer, although it is as a centre-half that he has so impressed at the Nou Camp stadium. A pacy man-marker, Reiziger has gradually made a first-team spot at Barcelona his own since arriving in Spain after an unhappy spell with Milan AC. He made his debut for the national side in 1994 and has always looked at ease on the international stage. He was ever present at Euro 96 and played in five games in the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
