Very sure, temperate and efficient, Miroslav commands the defense of Valencia and solves complicated situations with authority. The former FK RAD and Deportivo La Coruña defender has now established himself as a regular in the Yugoslav national side after an initially frustrating time after his 1991 debut. He gained notoriety in Spain for the penalty miss against present club Valencia CF that cost then club Deportivo the 1993/94 Spanish title.
