Cruz, Julio Ricardo
Julio Ricardo Cruz is undoubtly one of Feyenoord's best players today. The Argentinian striker came over from River Plate, Argentina and had to become Feyenoord's best striker in twenty years. He had some troubles in the beginning, but now he scored one goal after the other. Cruz didn't play in the Wolrd Cup '98 in France. He was curtainly an option, but he didn't belong to the 22 best players of Argentina at that time. Cruz is still young and he hopes to leave The Netherlands in two years or so to play in Italy or Spain. |
