Ravanelli is an extremely effective forward. He possesses a potent shot with the left leg, is rapid, strong and very difficult of stopping in race. Specialist in the free kicks, he finishes very well with the head and has an important capacity of fight and sacrifice. Missed France 1998 World Cup due to an injury suffered days before the beggining. Played superb in both Middlesbrough and Olympique Marseille, before re-joining Italian Serie A, but now with Societa Sportiva Lazio of Rome in January 2000.
