Kily is the kind of player that can fight for a ball in extra time as if he was in the first minute of the first period. He began professional soccer with Rosario Central where he played 56 games and scored 7 goals. Later, he moved to one of America's most respected teams: Boca Juniors (37 games, 3 goals). He was an idol in 'La Bombonera,' but he preferred a transfer to Real Zaragoza (90 games, 15 goals). He was re-called to play with the Argentine National team after the 99-00 succesful season with Valencia.
