Giovanni isn't a striker but he scores quite often, since he has been one of the top scorers of the UCL in 99-00. He scored vital goals for his current club Olympiakos against Real Madrid and Molde. He has an exceptional talent and prefers to play as an attacking midfielder behind the strikers. So far he's won 2 spanish championships, 1 spanish supercup, 1 cup winners' cup with Barcelona and 1 greek championship with Olympiakos. He played in the World Cup of France in 98 for Brazil, but did not settle and was soon replaced by Leonardo in the 11-men intial.
